Nascent | Immersive Projection
Nascent is an immersive projection work that situates a single luminous egg form within a monochromatic amber environment, inviting the viewer into a prolonged encounter with the threshold between potential and existence.
The work unfolds as a visual meditation rather than a narrative — the egg undergoes a series of internal transformations, from pure undifferentiated light to layered structure, fluid chaos, and finally a state of nested order. Each phase reflects a different condition of becoming: the moment before form commits to itself, when all possibilities still coexist within a single boundary.
By submerging both the projection and its surrounding space in a continuous warm field of light, Nascent dissolves the distinction between the object of contemplation and the environment of the viewer. The figure who stands before it becomes part of the work — a witness to a process that has no clear beginning and no final resolution.
The egg is not a symbol. It is a form that already carries the question inside it.
